For Aime Te X Flinders, we crafted a custom bookstand and magazine rack, designed with a commitment to utilizing natural materials. Our choice was a harmonious blend of travertine and dark oiled oak.
Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, the structure seamlessly comes together as wooden panels elegantly slide into one another, securely anchored by the travertine feet. This innovative design not only prioritizes aesthetic appeal but also achieves structural integrity without the need for bolts or glue.
