Painting with Plastic

Chair made out of three wooden planks. The design is completely based on the human body. I chose for a three legged chair because stability is guaranteed. My design is functional and has tension as it leans forward, ready to jump!

Everything around us is in constant transformation. The clouds in the air, a flower opening up. What if we could design objects in our lives that do that. Transformable design.

Most objects are static through their life span and eventually we dispose them. What if those objects were dynamic and alive and in movement around us in order to create new experiences, but also to give us new functional benefits.

LUMI is designed to create a transformation in both shape and light with a push and a pull.

In a world where everything constantly evolves and shifts, from the ethereal dance of clouds to the mesmerizing bloom of a flower, imagine if our everyday objects did the same. Envision a world of transformative design, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Why settle for static objects that just sit, age, and eventually get discarded? Imagine if they were alive, shifting and moving, not just to delight our senses, but also to enhance functionality.

Enter LUMI. More than just an object, it's a spectacle of metamorphosis – altering both its form and luminance with a mere push or pull. Dive into an experience where design isn't just static, but alive with possibility.
